Under the generous patronage of Prof. Dr. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, and Prof. Dr. Jehan Abdel Hady, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, and within the framework of the Central Strategic Planning Unit's annual plan to monitor the implementation of the University's Strategic Plan and the Annual Executive Plan (2025/2026) across the university faculties, the field follow-up team conducted a visit to the Faculty of Nursing on Tuesday, July 7, 2026.
The follow-up team was headed by Prof. Dr. Fatma Abdel Wahab, with the membership of Prof. Dr. Rania Abdel Fattah, Prof. Dr. Rehab Gamal, and Prof. Dr. Atta Khamis.
The team was welcomed by Prof. Dr. Marwa Mostafa Ragab, Dean of the Faculty; Prof. Dr. Khadija Said, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs; Prof. Dr. Hend Abdallah, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research; Prof. Dr. Faten Shafik, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development; in addition to the heads of the academic departments, Prof. Dr. Hedia Fathy, Director of the Faculty Strategic Planning Unit, and the Unit's team of faculty members and teaching assistants.
This visit was conducted as part of the University's periodic follow-up of the implementation of the Strategic Plan and reflects Benha University's commitment to promoting a culture of strategic planning, quality assurance, and institutional excellence, thereby contributing to the achievement of the University's strategic goals and future vision.
The visit included a review of the documents and evidence related to the Strategic Plan standards, an assessment of the activities implemented to date, and discussions on mechanisms for continuous development and improvement to enhance institutional performance and support the achievement of the Faculty's strategic objectives. The team also inspected the clinical and training laboratories to ensure their readiness and the availability of the facilities required to support the educational and training processes.
At the conclusion of the visit, the follow-up team commended the efforts of the Faculty's Strategic Planning Unit and its team, praising the excellent preparation and organization, the high quality of the submitted documents and evidence, the distinguished level of performance, and the significant progress achieved in implementing the Strategic Plan activities. The team emphasized that these accomplishments reflect the Faculty's strong commitment to fostering a culture of strategic planning and quality, as well as its dedication to continuous development and improvement in support of its vision, mission, and strategic objectives.
