Few hours ago, the result of the Webmetrics international ranking is revealed showing that Benha university portal is among the best five Egyptian universities. The university also maintains the fifth place in its race with 23 governmental universities and it maintains the sixth place in its race with 61 governmental and private universities. Congratulations to everybody who participate in such prestigious accomplishment!  

Prof.Dr. EL-Sayed EL-Kady, the university president says that there is a Cooperation protocol between Benha University and Egypt Fund in the Geometrical and scientific counseling in addition to scientific research. The cooperation protocol is signed in the presence of general / Amr Abd El-Moniem, the Qulubia Governor. The university president says that he meets with prof.Dr. Abd EL-Moneim Badawy, the chancellor of the united Arab Bank stressing that signing the protocol comes as a reward for the success and the fruitful participation of the faculty of engineering /Shubra regarding the geometrical supervision on the “Tahia Misr” City to put an end to the squatter areas. This city is one of the big projects that are established under the auspices of the president of Egypt /Abd El-Fattah El-Sisi.

Benha university launches, headed by prof.Dr. EL-Sayed EL-kady, the university president, a campaign of a free Virus-C university in cooperation with Egypt Fund. The university president says that he meets with Mr. Muhammad Ashmawy, the Executive manager of the fund, prof.Dr. Abd EL-Moneim Badawy, the chancellor of the united Arab Bank. The meeting is held in the presence of Mrs. Manal Shahin, Mrs. Heba Hafez, and the head of programs sector, communication and media, prof.Dr. Mahmoud Abd EL-Sabour, the dean of the faculty of medicine, prof.Dr. Yosry El-Saied, the head of the hospitals and Mr. Wael Meky, the manager of public sector in the university. 

Prof.Dr. El-Sayed El-Kady, the university president asserts that the programs of the faculty of medicine should be developed to have efficient Alumni who are capable of competing with all faculties of Medicine around the world and accepting the challenges in 2023. In this year, the certificates of the faculties of medicine which didn’t develop its programs will not be accepted. This statement concurs with the university president attendance of a workshop about developing the Bachelor programs of medicine and surgery. This workshop is held in cooperation with the medical sector committee in the supreme council of the universities and the faculties of medicine in ( Benha- Tanta- El-Monifya). This workshop is held in the presence of prof.Dr. Hesham Abu El-Enin, the vice president of post-graduate studies and research, prof.Dr. Mahmoud Abd El-Sabour, the faculty’s dean, prof.Dr. Nadia Badrawy, the head of the committee of developing the medical curriculums in the supreme council of the universities, prof.Dr. Ahmed Gamal El-Din, the dean of the faculty of medicine in El-Monifya, prof.Dr. Lamis Ragab, the member of planning committee at the medical sector of the supreme council of the universities, prof.Dr. Amgad Abd-EL-Megid Farahat, the dean of the faculty of medicine in Tanta, the faculties deans in Benha university , the faculties deputies in the university, the students and the faculties members.

Prof.Dr. El-Sayed El-Kady, the university president hosts prof.Dr. Ghaleb Orikat, the vice president of Amman University, prof.Dr. Sakr EL-Khrabsha, the head of the oval office of university studies in Jordan. The meeting is held in the presence of prof.Dr. Mahmoud Eraqi, the dean of the faculty of agriculture, prof.Dr. Abd- Allah Saad, the manager of the new programs in the faculty of engineering/Shubra, some representative of the civil society from the peasants union to discuss the possibility of scientific and academic cooperation between both universities. The university president asserts that the possibility of holding the first Arab forum of higher education between Egypt and Jordan in cooperation with Benha university to discuss higher education-related issues, its problems, its challenges, scientific research, the international ranking of the universities and the new scientific programs stressing that this forum will be held in Egypt.

Prof.Dr. EL-Sayed EL-kady, the university president left Cairo, yesterday, to go the united Arab of Emirates and attend the Arab Universities conference in Dubai. This conference discusses the student activities and the student exchange among the Arab Universities in addition to the discussing the difficulties that hinder the student exchanges among the Arab Universities.
