Prof. Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the President of Benha University said that all students from the Arab States are my sons and in mind adding that teamwork from deans and University vice-presidents has been formed to put a general strategy for the University foreign students.

   The Department of the Scientific and Cultural Relations, Sector of Postgraduate Studies and Researches, Benha University has announced the names of the honorees of the University 2nd Scientific Excellence Day, June 2016 which will be held on Sunday, 05/06/2016 under the auspices of the University President.

The British Company “Quacquarelli Symonds” (QS) has announced its ranking of 2016 on Tuesday, 14/06/2016 and even though the strong competition this year between more than 300Arab Universities (public and private), Benha University has kept its rank between top 100 of the best Arab Universities according to QS ranking for the Arab region 2016.

Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the President of Benha University; the University receives a delegation from Japan International Cooperation Agency “JICA” on Monday, 20/06/2016 to discuss the technical cooperation ways in all fields between the two sides. It is worth mentioning that JICA aims to transfer the technology and knowledge around the world. 

Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Ali Shams el Din, the University president, Prof.Dr. Susan Sliver, Professor at the international institute of learning paid a visit to the faculty of nursing who is responsible for developing education and training in the middle- East and North Africa in 13-6-2016. Prof. Dr. Suzan Sliver was received by staff members, employees and workers and on the top of them Prof.Dr. Mahmoud Abd el Sabor, the former dean of the faculty and Prof. Dr. Howayda sadiq, the current dean of the faculty.

Students met with several hospital staff members according to the protocols that was agreed upon with the faculty of nursing. The meeting was initiated by delivering a word of prof. Dr. Howayda Sadek Abd el- hameed, the faculty dean Prof. Dr. Mahboba Sobhy, the faculty deputy of environmental affairs and community service, Prof. Dr. Hanaa Abd- El- Gawad and Dr. Salwa Ibrahim Muhammad on Sunday, 16-8-2016. The meeting was held in the presence of Mrs. Yosor Osman, the training official in Nasr institute and Mr. Mustafa Ahmed Kamal, the HR manager of Cleopatra hospital group.  

Students met with El-Arabi hospital staff members according to the protocol that was agreed upon with the faculty of nursing. The meeting was initiated by delivering a word of prof. The faculty announces the beginning of the admission tests for the new students of the year 2016/2017. These new students have to come to the faculty on Monday, 29-8-2016 to Thursday, 1-9-2016 to make the medical checkups and anatomies on Saturday, 3-9-2016 and on Sunday, 4-9-2016. The admission test was held on Monday, 5-9-2016 and Tuesday, 6-9-2016. The admission tests of the technical institute of nursing included; English language, the mental abilities, the personal characteristics and the interview. Those who are absent are considered unfit. Under the auspices of Qualubyia Governor, Prof. Dr. Reda farahat, Prof. Dr. Gamal Ismail, the acting University president and Prof. Dr. Gamal Sosa, the general supervisors of the medical convoys, the faculty sent a medical convoy to the "el- Gabal el-asfer" in el- khanka in the frame of the University role in spreading medical awareness. This activity was under the auspices of prof. Dr. Howayda Sadek Abd el- hameed, the faculty dean Prof. Dr. Mahboba Sobhy, the faculty deputy of environmental affairs and community service and several students of the faculty.

The general services for education and continuous training center at the faculty held a first aid course. This course started from 30-8-2016 under the auspices of prof. Dr. Howayda Sadek Abd el- hameed, the faculty dean Prof. Dr. Mahboba Sobhy, the faculty deputy of environmental affairs and community service and Prof.Dr. Faten Shafik, the head of the center.
