A workshop was held on Saturday, July 4, 2026, for the Ninth Cohort (New Students) of the accelerated Bachelor of Nursing Sciences Program.
The workshop focused on Academic Advising and the Regulations of the Intensive Bachelor of Nursing Sciences Program and was delivered by Dr. Salma Hussein Aboul Fotouh, Lecturer of Maternity and Gynecological Nursing at the Faculty of Nursing.
The workshop covered the concept and objectives of academic advising, the mechanisms for benefiting from academic advising services, and the role of the academic advisor in helping students with academic planning, solving academic problems, and making informed educational decisions. It also introduced the academic regulations of the accelerated Bachelor of Nursing Sciences Program, contributing to improved academic performance and supporting students in achieving academic excellence and success.

As part of Benha University's commitment to enhancing the quality of services provided to students, promoting mental health, and fostering a safe and supportive academic environment, Benha University launched a competition to evaluate and select the Best Psychological Support Unit at the university level.
The evaluation committee consisted of:
- Prof. Mohamed Ghanem, Director of the University Quality Assurance Center.
- Prof. Afaf Hassan, Director of the Central Psychological Support Unit at Benha University.
The event was held under the patronage of :
- Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University
- Prof. Gehan Abdel Hady, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs
- Prof. Marwa Mostafa Ragab, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing;
- Prof. Khadiga Mohamed Saeed, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs
- Prof. Faten Shafik Mahmoud, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development
- Prof. Naglaa Fathy El-Attar, Director of the Psychological Support Unit, Faculty of Nursing, Benha University.
The visit included a comprehensive review of the activities of the Faculty's Psychological Support Unit, the programs and services provided to students, and the unit's operational procedures. This reflected the Faculty's ongoing efforts to deliver effective psychological support and promote students' mental well-being, contributing to the enhancement of the educational environment and the achievement of the University's mission in student care.

On Sunday, June 28, 2026, a training course entitled "How to Evaluate Professional Performance" was conducted for internship students and faculty graduates.
The course was delivered by Professor Dr. Ehsan Saad Soliman, Professor of Nursing Administration, Faculty of Nursing, Benha University. The session addressed the principles and standards of professional performance evaluation, its significance in enhancing professional competence, and mechanisms for improving performance in accordance with quality standards. The course aimed to prepare highly qualified nursing professionals capable of delivering outstanding healthcare services while meeting the evolving demands of the labor market.
