As part of the Faculty of Nursing at Benha University's commitment to preparing promising nursing cadres capable of keeping pace with the requirements of the digital and professional future, and in implementation of the faculty's plan to support sustainable development and build academic and professional competencies, the Graduates Follow-up Unit organized a specialized training course entitled "Future Foresight in Nursing Care".
The event was held under the patronage of:
Prof. Dr. Nasser El-Gezawy - President of Benha University.
Prof. Dr. Taha Hassan Mokhtar Ashour - Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs.

The training course was conducted on Sunday, August 2, 2026, targeting internship students and faculty graduates, as part of supporting their professional skills and enhancing their ability to meet the demands of the future job market. The course was lectured by Dr. Mostafa Fathy Rawash, Assistant Lecturer at the Pediatric Nursing Department, who reviewed the concept of future foresight in nursing care, its strategic importance, and the prominent modern practical applications that contribute to enriching future and research thinking and developing participants' skills.
The course aimed to build a proactive mindset to foresee the future of healthcare, bridge academia with technology, and stimulate research innovation. Its core themes included discussing the concepts of future foresight and the transition to strategic planning, applications of modern technologies such as virtual reality, artificial intelligence, telenursing, informatics, and robotics, in addition to integrating future vision with scientific research and transforming creative ideas into distinguished practical projects.

As part of the Faculty of Nursing's commitment at Benha University to preparing highly qualified nursing graduates with outstanding scientific knowledge and clinical competence, the Orientation Program for the Fifth Cohort of the Intensive Bachelor of Nursing Science Program (Credit Hour System) for the academic year 2026/2027 will be held from 15 August 2026 to 30 August 2026.
The program aims to prepare students for the transition to the clinical practice environment by enhancing their professional knowledge and practical skills, while strengthening their readiness to practice nursing in accordance with the latest quality standards and patient safety principles. This contributes to delivering high-quality nursing care and promoting professional excellence.
The orientation program includes a variety of educational activities, scientific lectures, practical workshops, and clinical training sessions designed to develop students' professional competencies and clinical skills. In addition, continuous academic guidance and professional support will be provided throughout the training period to ensure that students gain the maximum benefit from their internship experience.
