Benha University participates at the 6^th Cairo international Exhibition for Innovation under auspices of Prof.Dr.Gamal El Saeed, Benha University President. The Exhibition is organized by Scientific Research and Technology Academy for the 6^th year. Dr\ Khalid Abd El Ghaffar, minister of High Education and Scientific Research opened the Exhibition in presence of Dr\ Gamal El Saeed, Benha University President, Dr\ Ragab Mejahed , Faculty of Engineering dean and Dr\ Alaa Abd El Halim ,  the Governor of El Qalyubia.                                  

      Benha University got several medals at the 1st competition of the African Universities Youth Week which was held in the period from 19 to 25 of October 2019. The week was held by participation of 22 African countries and 24 Egyptian Universities. Benha University participated at the week under auspices of Dr\ Gamal El Saeed, Benha University President and Prof.Dr Hussein El Maghraby, the University Vice-president for Education and Students' affairs. Dr\ Musbah El Kehily , the General Manger of Youth Care department said that Benha university students achieved a great success and medals at the following activities ;the student \ Amna Abd El Aziz from faculty of Commerce got the 1st place and the golden medal at singing and the student \ Abd El Kahliq Sharawy from faculty of Computers and Artificial Intelligence got the 3rd place and the bronze medal at recycling plastic project.

      Dr\ Gamal El Saeed , Benha University President and Prof.Dr Hussein El Maghraby, the University Vice-president for Education and Students' affairs witnessed a  ceremony on the occasion of October victory No 46 in presence of Dr \ Khalid Essawy , the General coordinator of students activities , deans and students . El Saeed assured in his word that our army refused the defeat in 1967 and all Egyptian people refused that defeat and insisted on war to free our land and take back our honor and to learn the following generations sacrifice, persistence, patience and there is no impossible .At the end of the ceremony El Saeed honored heroes of the war such as; Ahmed Edris, Henedy Mohdy, Ali Abd El Ghany, Adel Morgan and Mohammed Nour El Din.

                Dr \ Khalid Abd El Ghaffar, minister of High Education and Scientific Research issued a new ministerial decree and appointed four managers at Benha University for one year. Dr\ Gamal El Saeed, Benha University president said that the ministerial decrees includes the following names as following; Mohammed Saued Mohammed as the Faculty of Law Secretary, Soliman Ahmed Soliman as the General Manager of Planning at The University, Soliman Abdu Soliman as the General Manager of Education Affairs at Benha university and Ayman Bayoumy Mohammed as the General Manager for purchases and stores at the University.

      Dr\ Gamal El Saeed, Benha University President inspects the University hostel for males at Kafr Saad and following up process of students' housing at their rooms in presence of Dr\ Gamal Soussa , the general supervisor on the University hostels and Dr\ Awad Allah Soliman , the General Manager of the University Hostel. El Saeed has confirmed on improving the the submitted service to students. El Saeed also inspected restaurants and food stores and held a meeting with students to listen to their complaints and opinions.

          Benha University has organized a student visit to the new administrative capital under auspices of Dr\ Gamal El Saeed , Benha University President , Prof.Dr Hussein El Maghraby, the University Vice-president for Education and Students' Affairs and Dr \ Khalid Esawy , the General Coordinator of students activities . On the other hand, Dr\ Mosbah El Kehily , the manager of Youth care department said that a delegation of 50 student participated at that visit and they visited the Famous mosque Al Fattah El Aleem , the famous cathedral and the f embassies and  ministries districts  in addition to inspecting housing projects .

           Dr\ Amr Tallat , minister of Telecommunication and Information technology witnessed activities of the organized workshop by the National Telecommunication Institute (NTI) at the smart village. The workshop was held in presence of Dr\ Gamal El Saeed, Benha University President and Dr\ Hala Helmy Zayed , Faculty of Computers and Artificial Intelligence dean . The workshop was under the title of "The 5th Generation opportunities and Challenges" and it discussed the way to apply the digital services in Egypt according to the governmental plan to improve the submitted services to citizens. NTI Institute plays important role in submitting the required training to 5000 trainers at the end of 2021 and raising citizens' awareness about using digital services and its importance nowadays.

Fulbright commission announces its scholarships to the faculties’ members. These scholarships include the following:

• Computer and artificial intelligence
• Renewable energy

Prof. Dr. Hussien Almaghrabi, Benha University Vice-president for Education and Students` Affairs said that the University has completed all the preparations necessary for conducting the aptitude tests for its faculties 2020/2021 for students holding secondary school certificate, its equivalent (Arab and foreign), and the technical certificates. He added that the faculties need aptitude tests are the faculties of physical education, specific education (art and music education departments), and applied arts It is worth mentioning that the aptitude tests will be started from August 8 to 20 according to the time plan of the Supreme Council of Universities

The exams of postgraduate studies started last Saturday at the faculties of education and nursing in the light of the preventive and precautionary measures to limit the spread of the novel coronavirus (Covid19) Prof. Dr. Nasser El Gizawy, the University Vice-president for Post Graduate Studies and Researches ' Affairs said that all the preventive and precautionary measures have been taken to ensure the safety of the students and staff
