A New Launch to Support and Empower Students: Faculty of Nursing at Benha University Organizes Training Program for New Academic Advisors
In a pioneering step reflecting the keenness of the Faculty of Nursing at Benha University to elevate the educational process and provide a supportive, stimulating environment for students, the Faculty of Nursing is preparing to launch a comprehensive training program for new academic advisors titled "Academic Advising, Psychological, and Social Support." The event will take place on Saturday and Sunday, September 5 and 6, 2026, in the Discussion Hall on the second floor of the faculty.
The program aims to refine the skills of new faculty members and equip them with the latest effective strategies and mechanisms in guidance and counseling. It focuses on addressing the psychological and social challenges students may encounter during their university journey, directly contributing to enhancing academic achievement and fostering a university environment defined by warmth and academic security.
This vital program is held under the patronage and continuous supervision of the university and faculty leadership, represented by:
* Prof. Dr. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University
* Prof. Dr. Jehan Abdel-Hady Mohamed, Acting Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs

This event comes as part of an integrated plan adopted by the faculty's Academic Advising Unit to consolidate the concept of comprehensive student care. It aims to prepare advisors capable of leaving a sustainable positive impact on the minds and hearts of future generations of Egypt's promising nursing workforce, ensuring the development of a confident generation equipped to face future challenges with efficiency and competence.

As part of Benha University’s commitment to monitoring the work of examination committees, ensuring the regular conduct of examination procedures, and enhancing the quality and accuracy of academic processes, the Faculty of Nursing – Benha University received, on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, a university team to review the work of the examination committees at the Faculty.
The review team included:
? Prof. Dr. Mohamed Mohamedy Ghanem, Director of the Quality Assurance and Accreditation Center at Benha University.
? Prof. Dr. Naglaa Fekry, Director of the Faculty and Leadership Development Center at Benha University.
? Prof. Dr. Nabil El-Sayed, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Specific Education for Education and Student Affairs.
? Ms. Zeinab Gamal Badawy.
The team reviewed the work of the examination committees and examined the procedures being followed, contributing to ensuring accuracy, transparency, and compliance with the regulations and rules governing the educational process.
This visit comes within the framework of the University’s ongoing support for its faculties and its commitment to implementing quality assurance and governance standards, as well as enhancing the level of academic and administrative performance.

The first day of the Orientation Program for Internship Students for the academic year 2026/2027 was launched today, Sunday, August 16, 2026, at the Faculty of Nursing, Benha University.
The program is organized as part of the Faculty’s commitment to supporting internship students, preparing them for their professional practice, and familiarizing them with the clinical training environment.
The program aims to provide students with the necessary guidance and support, enhance their professional skills and competencies, and help them begin their internship period with greater readiness and confidence.
